Q&A
What is The Visibility Collection?
It is a collection of photographs of trans folk in hopes to boost self-esteem and promote visibility through images and personal statements. The project serves as a tool to raise awareness of discrimination, but also to celebrate the trans community.
How did the collection begin?
It wasn't something I started, rather something the trans community around me developed. It started with taking photos of a dear friend's surgery scars and emerged into taking photos for more and more people as they asked. Because interest was so high, I knew this was something I needed to pursue, and there began The Visibility Collection.
How can I be a part of it?
Just ask! I'm currently booking about one month out. All sessions take place in my Connecticut studio, but travel can be arranged on a limited basis.
How much does it cost?
Nothing! :) All sessions are free of charge and include printing rights. This project is a gift.
